Karate as a self defense
The Karate is a combination of two word i.e. Kara mean โempty โ and Te mean โhand โ .It also means the arts of fighting without weapons. Karate techniques may be used to defend yourself form many different situation by using escape form and counter attack and then escape, in other hand karate is effectively utilize those part of body that can be still moved and take minimum advantage of the strength of the aggressor. One chief advantage of karate as self- defense techniques is that it is a arts of concern in the self defense that even if the upper body is immobilized, the feet and legs can still be used, in spite of this, a good principle to remember is that every effort should be used to escape or counter attack before the opponent has chance to get a hold of you and break that hold once made, as possible, so these are the several reasons . We use karate as self defense techniques.
